A Matter of PRIDE

I had made an appeal on my site regarding a small child a few days back. The child's condition was really grim. Doctors of CMC Vellore were waiting for money to perform the operation. I informed the Principal of my school (Don Bosco Liluah)of the situation and asked him if he could be of any help. WITHIN A DAY, HE COLLECTED A SUM OF Rs.27331 FROM THE STUDENTS AND ADDED Rs. 23000 FROM THE SCHOOL FUND TO SAVE THE CHILD. As an ex-student of the school, I am really proud of my school today. Reverend Father Pathikal has also assured the child's father Mr. Chandan Das of further financial help if needed. Rs.50131, along with money collected from other sources is probably more than enough for the operation. Thank you Don Bosco. I have learned the greatest lesson of my life. "Where there is a will, there is a way."
